Ghostbusters patch !

Ghostbusters: The Video Game

Image via Wikipedia

Who you gonna call ? Patchbusters !

Cept they show a year and a half after the game is released!!!

Believe it or not, Ghostbusters: The Video Game’s multiplayer has a decent-sized community. Since the game’s release, four achievements have been glitched and angry Ghostbusters have begged Terminal Reality to patch it. People need their ‘cheeves. Well, TR is a busy company and need to put man power towards future products, but still wanted to support the Ghostbusters game, so they made a patch for the game.

Terminal Reality announced via its Facebook page that the patch is now live:

“The Ghostbusters Xbox 360 multi-player patch is now available! Many thanks to all of our wonderful supporters for their patience and continued support! The next step is to go get those achievements, and they are some doozies! Thanks to our awesome QA staff, we have a step-by-step walkthrough of how to go about getting them.”

The only problem, it took one and a half years to come out! It took Terminal Reality until June of this year to announce they were doing a patch for the game and then it took 7 months to create and pass certification through Microsoft.

The developers were nice enough to post an achievement guide for those last pesky glitched ones so people can finally get 1K on the game.

I give them huge props for supporting their product despite being a smaller company, but there is another problem; the patch doesn’t fully work. According to post on forums over at xbox360achievements.org, the patch only fixed two of the four glitched achievements. Anyone who hasn’t played the multiplayer enough to “technically” earn the achievement before the patch, still cannot unlock it. If you haven’t played multiplayer yet, or haven’t reached the requirements for the achievement, you are safe. Until then, it looks like achievement hunters are stuck at 980GS/1000.

Sing that ghostbusta tune !

I love the eyes this girl has ! I mean she looks super in lost g!rl, sexy and all that etc etc etc and etc etc etc <insert whatever>.  But her eyes make her super special.

Reminds me of that older actress and i be damned if i can remember the movie. Some underwater movie back in the days when the abyss came out and alot of copycat movies came out that year .

Anyways here is the interview.

Nothing can stop actress Ksenia Solo these days. Born in Latvia, Solo made her theater debut at age five and has since built up an extensive acting resume, including multiple awards and work alongside actors like Natalie Portman and John Cusack. In addition to two upcoming feature films, the 23-year-old rising star currently has a role on the CW’s Life UneXpected. TheCelebrityCafe.com’s Brianna Gunter spoke with Ksenia about Life and her other projects.

TCC: How did you feel when Life Unexpected was renewed for a second season? Did you expect it?

KS: I was so excited to hear season two was a go. You really never know what to expect in the crazy world of television, but I think Life UneXpected deserves many seasons to fulfill its full potential.

According to a report on Eurogamer Denmark, Elder Scrolls developers Bethesda are already hard at work on a fifth episode in the storied role-playing series.

“This source not only confirmed that the game is in current production, but also spoke briefly about the content – with fantasy-sounding phrases like Dragon Lord, something with The Blades – and that voice acting for the characters in the game is currently happening in the weeks to follow.

“The same source confirmed, with official game documents in hand, that this will be the chronological sequel to what happened in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which is the latest game in the now 16-years-old Elder Scrolls saga and by itself one of the better RPGs for PC and consoles.

I hope it less boring then the previous elder scrolls. As epic as they where.. they would bore the hell outta me..

Guy Sues Wikipedia & Craigslist For $1 Billion Because (He Claims) He Found Nudity On Both
from the pro-se-me dept
Admittedly, most pro se lawsuits (filed by an individual, without a lawyer) are complete junk — and on any given day you can find some really silly lawsuits. But sometimes they’re worth highlighting anyway, just for how amusing they can be. Eric Goldman alerts us to the following lawsuit, filed by one Russell Dan Smith, arguing that both Craigslist and Wikipedia should be barred from being available in the state of South Carolina, and that each should be forced to pay $500 million, with half going to the state of South Carolina (might help with the budget) and half going to Russell Dan Smith (might help with the monthly payments he has to make on his $10,000 Puma camper).
What, you might ask, should force both sites to be blocked in the great state of South Carolina, as well pay up a billion dollars, combined? According to Mr. Smith, both sites “have been and still do openly promote child prostitution and the distribution of child pornography.” Also, “both defendants also promote adult prostitution and nudity designed to excite prurient interests in the people viewing it.” How does Mr. Smith know this? Because, he notes, he discovered such things on both sites, but “not intentionally.” You see, “the pictures came to him by way of his surfing defendants’ websites for valid non-pornographic purposes.” You see, “plaintiff does not and does not want to view such nudity as heretofore described.” Understood, of course. And “for allowing such nudity of children and adults to be seen by those who do not want to see it, both defendants are liable of attempting to lure other persons to share in this crime.”
Mr. Smith also highlights the fact that Craigslist sued South Carolian Attorney General Henry McMaster — a lawsuit that was tossed out, but is being appealed. He claims that “there is a probability shown by the preponderance of the evidence that defendant Craigslist was a criminal organization suing the Attorney General of the State of South Carolina for no other reason than that the State had been investigating the organization and intended therefore to paralyze by fear of further action.” Of course, as covered in detail at the time, McMaster had been threatening to put Craigslist execs in jail, for actions of its users — actions clearly protected under Section 230 of the CDA, which other courts have highlighted. Craigslist’s offensive lawsuit was not to “sue McMaster,” so much as to get a declaratory judgment that it had done nothing wrong, so as to stop McMaster from continued grandstanding.
As one final point, it does seem worth pointing out that, on the documents filed, there is a note reading that “frivolous civil proceedings may be subject to sanctions….” Seems worth pointing out…

Day of the Warrior: The Legion to Ensure Total Harmony and Law (L.E.T.H.A.L.), is tracking a criminal mastermind known only as The Warrior. While investigating his combination diamond smuggling/art theft/porn production industry, the agents discover that he has cracked their secret database and has stolen the files on all of their agents. With the help of their martial arts intructor Fu, agents Tiger, Willow and Cobra take on the case while also taking every opportunity to remove their bikini.

This is for real yo ??  Unreal !! This is looks so 80′s it is unreal. The movie was released in 2006.

It gave me another reason to post some pictures and fiddle around with some WP plugins.

This Saturday is exactly 25 years ago that Microsoft first released Windows version of its OS. Windows 1.0 has evolved to the current Windows 7. Microsoft has its OS is still a market share of around 90 percent.

Microsoft’s OS for 1985, MS-DOS, which worked with the command line. Windows, named after the various “windows” that users can simultaneously open on the desktop, added a graphical interface to Microsoft’s operating system.

The huge success for Microsoft was only the third version of Windows: Windows 3.1 and 3.11 were commonly sold in the early nineties. The successor, Windows 95, was the first Windows version that was equipped with the typical Start button and Taskbar. Both elements are still found in the current version, Windows 7, though they have a modern look and slightly different effect.

Especially in the late nineties there were many versions of Windows after the other: Windows 98, 98SE, ME, XP, 2000 and came within six years after the release of Windows 95. Originally wield two different branches of Microsoft Windows: DOS-based 95, 98 and ME and Windows NT-based kernel series including Windows 2000. Only from Windows XP which two were combined under one name.

Windows XP never was the only version of Windows on the market, until five years later, in 2007, came from Vista, the successor to XP. The new version of Windows then came a lot faster: two years after the current Windows Vista came out 7. That is much faster than the counter example of the successful Windows 3: where it in two years ten million licenses sold, sat in the first quarter, Windows 7 already has 60 million licenses.
